VII Sept-Bruxelles is a Belgian brand created by Cécile De Jaegher in 2007. She graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. 
VII Sept-Bruxelles reflects the designer s own creative expression, it is also a cheerful answer to the need for  various handbags to wear at very different occasions, formal, not so formal, casual, evening, day, weekend…always respecting our need for  joy and beauty of quality and creativity.
VII Sept-Bruxelles is not driven by profit, and wants its success to come from the love of the work,  the respect of the people they work with and the quality of the materials that are used.
Therefore VII Sept-Bruxelles selects materials from the best qualities available such as aniline leather, cow or lamb. Liberty fabrics are visible in linings and details. The handbags are entirely handmade in Belgium. Hand paintings are  done in the VII Sept-Bruxelles  studio.
The name of the brand has been chosen to emphasize the local production in Brussels and to celebrate number VII being the designer s lucky number, as she is the seventh child of a family of seven!
